Things I'm Looking Forward To

Things I'm looking forward to:

The day someone says "Have you lost a lot of weight?".
The day that someone doesn't recognize me because of my weight loss.
The day I can fit into a size 35" jeans.
The day I can fit into a size 34" jeans.
The day my thighs don't rub together when I walk.
The day I can fit into most of my old clothes.
The day I can fit into all of my old clothes.
The day I can shop at trendy stores and actually fit into a large t-shirt.
The day I can throw out all my "Fat Clothes"
The day I can go shirtless at a beach and actually feel comfortable.
The day I weight less than Sherri's 2 nieces combined: 220 lbs.
The day I can actually say I don't have Man Boobs!
The day that I can have sex without having to stop to catch my breath.
The day I can choose to take the stairs without worrying about sweat marks.
The day I'm not sweating all the time.
The day I can sit comfortably at sporting events, etc., & only take up one seat.
The day I don't have to worry if I'm going to break something if I sit on it.
The day that I can eat something without thinking everyone's looking at me.
The day I'm featured in the "Belly Off Club" in Men'sHealth Magazine.
The day my stomach doesn't hang over my waist.
The day my BF% is below 30%
The day my BF% is below 25%
The day my BF% is below 20%
The day I weigh 225 lbs.
The day I weigh 220 lbs.
The day I weigh 215 lbs.
The day I weigh 210 lbs.
The day I weigh 205 lbs.
The day I weigh 200 lbs.
The day that someone says "hey big guy" and I don't cringe.
The day I can safely play tennis without fear of my knee giving out.
The day I'm able to complete a 10k run/walk-a-thon.
The day I complete a 10k run/walk-a-thon in under 48mins, which what it took me to run it in 1992 @ the age of 19.
The day I complete the Scotiabank Cape to Cabot 20k run.

Unquantifiable things I'm looking forward to:

- Improved self esteem.
- Improved self confidence.
- Not being poked in the stomach like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
- Feeling less pain in my knee.

I might add more to the list as time goes on.......but I will definitely be adding some of the above to the list below!

I can fit into a size 38" jeans. ~ Feb. 28th, 2008
I weigh 235 lbs. ~ Mar. 3rd, 2008
My BF% is below 35% ~ Mar. 4th, 2008
I weight 230 lbs. ~ Mar. 13th, 2008
I can run upstairs to the bedroom without breaking a sweat. ~ Mar. 15th, 2008
My BF% is below 34.2% (my starting BF%) ~ Mar. 24th, 2008
I can fit into a size 36" jeans. ~ April 10th, 2008

It is do-able - I was rather pleased to realise I can tick about 30 of those off that list.

I'm not gloating, just encouraging
