Week #105: In Review

"Life without a purpose is a languid, drifting thing; every day we ought to review our purpose, saying to ourselves, 'This day let me make a sound beginning, for what we have hitherto done is naught!" ~ Thomas a Kempis

As stated from the get go my overall goal is "To achieve mental & physical wellness by leading a consistent & healthy lifestyle". To be able to accomplish this goal I will have to focus on three key area's of my life:

1. Nutrition - 1st component of physical wellness
2.
Fitness - 2nd component of physical wellness
3. Mental Health - the path to mental wellness

:Met/exceeded guideline

6. To reduce/eliminate visits to McD's, KFC...etc, etc., when dining out.

6. To maintain my blog & relationships online.
7. To keep contact with my friends & family

Overall Review:

Weight Loss = 1.3 lbs
Fat % Loss = .4%

I'm very happy with my progress this week....especially since it's based on only 4 days. As my first week back at it, I did very well. I'm not too concerned about falling short/missing a few of my guidelines as I didn't want to push myself too much on the first week. Next week I hope to implement more snacks into my routine, as well as additional servings of fruit/veg's.

Beyond that I hope to calculate my maximum heart rate so I can exercise at the optimum level to burn fat......in fact I'll add that to my To-Do List now.

I hope everyone else had a great week!
