The Biggest Loser

"Our deeds determine us as much as we determine our deeds." ~ George Eliot

Spoiler Alert: I'm about to talk about the latest Biggest Loser episode..... so if you haven't seen it yet don't continue reading this post.

I realize that "The Biggest Loser" is a game.... but I like the show more when the game playing is left to a minimum. This seasons contestants have been pretty supportive of each other and have left the mind games, strategic moves and such to a minimum, which I think is awesome.

Melissa is the only contestant that has ever made my skin crawl. She spent her whole time on the show scheming.... more so than any other player in the history of the show. Her minor fluctuations in weight from one week to the next, pretty much proved that she was throwing some weeks to gain an advantage later on, as it's next to impossible to not lose more than 1 pound given their low calorie intake and endless hours of exercise each week.

Last week I was disappointed to see that Melissa weaseled her way back into the competition..... but after this weeks episode it was worth it.... and then some.

When she was lagging behind in the swimming challenge I was glad.... but when the other finished contestants aided Michael & O'Neal, putting her in last with the 1 pound penalty, I was ecstatic.

I was worried that Melissa would end up winning the immunity and manage to squirm her way into the next week.... but the unstoppable Sam snapped up the immunity....... YAY Sam.

The icing on the cake was at the weight-in when the 1 pound penalty didn't even make a difference from her falling below the yellow line & up for elimination.

I was sooooooo happy when the rest of the contestants didn't listen to her little speech and eliminated her for the second time...... hopefully last time.

Karma's a bitch Melissa

I missed last season since I was working in Fort McMurray..... But after having a chat with Sherri, she couldn't agree with you more.

Sherri said "Melissa was extremely competitive and primarily looked out for herself... Vicki was like Mellisa, but she was also really mean to the other people.... to their face and behind their backs".

I guess Melissa irked me primarily because this seasons contestants seemed to thrive off and support each other.... with the exception of Melissa. I even liked Lance more when he was on the ranch by himself.

BTW... Dude, you look soooo fit in your new profile pic!
